Pacheco’s Disease Vaccine, Killed Virus

Description
Psittimune PDV contains an immunogenic psittacine herpesvirus.

Indications
Psittimune PDV is recommended for the vaccination of selected psittacine birds as an aid in the prevention of Pacheco’s disease.

Psittimune PDV is administered by the subcutaneous method over the breast muscle or intramuscularly into the breast muscle of healthy, susceptible psittacine birds prior to the laying season, at the time of fledging the nest, during quarantine, and prior to exposure to other psittacine stock or equipment.
