Description
Salmune contains a live avirulent strain of Salmonella typhimurium. The vaccine is freeze-dried.

Indications
Salmune is recommended for the vaccination of chickens as an aid in the reduction of Salmonella typhimurium, Salmonella heidelberg, Salmonella hadar, Salmonella kentucky and Salmonella enteritidis colonization of the internal organs, intestines and ceca.

Salmune is administered by the drinking water method or coarse spray method to healthy, susceptible chickens at one day of age or older. The vaccine is rehydrated with clean, cool, non-chlorinated water as stated on the circular.
