Description
Maximune 8 is a vaccine containing inactivated Bursal disease virus of
the Standard and Variant types, Newcastle disease virus, bronchitis viruses
of the Mass. type, and avian reoviruses of the Standard and SS412 types.
Indications
Maximune 8 is recommended for the vaccination of chickens as an aid in
the prevention of Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis (Mass. type).
Breeder vaccination with Maximune 8 provides maternal antibody to progeny
of breeder hens for the prevention of bursal disease caused by standard
and variant types and tenosynovitis and malabsorption caused by reoviruses
of the standard and SS412 types.
Maximune 8 is administered by the subcutaneous method to healthy, susceptible
chickens at least eighteen weeks old.
