Bursal Disease - Newcastle Disease - Reovirus Vaccine,
Standard and Variant, Killed Virus
Description
Maximune 7 is a killed vaccine containing infectious bursal disease virus
of the standard and variant types, Newcastle disease virus, and avian
reoviruses of the Standard and SS412 types.
Indications
Maximune 7 is recommended for the vaccination of chickens as an aid in
the prevention of Newcastle disease virus, infectious bursal disease viruses
and reoviruses. Vaccination with Maximune 7 provides maternal antibodies
to progeny of breeder hens for the prevention of infectious bursal disease
caused by standard and variant types and tenosynovitis and malabsorption
caused by reoviruses of the standard and SS412 types.
Maximune 7 is administered by the subcutaneous route to healthy chickens
at least four weeks prior to the onset of egg production.
